LURED TO THEIR DOOM IN DEATH VALLEY
GOLDFIELD, July 19. -- John Millin, E M Titus and Earl Weller of Telluride, Colo., left Rhyolite June 20 on a prospecting trip to Death Valley. Today Millin was brought into Rhyolite in a half demented condition with just enough sense to tell how Titus and Weller wandered over the desert one at a time in search of water, and in fifteen days did not return.
They are undoubtedly dead. Two horses and nineteen burros belonging to the men also died of thirst.
