Meteor Falls Near Rhyolite, Nevada.
Reno, Nev. -- Word has been received in Reno to the effect that an immense meteor feel a few miles north of the town of Rhyolite. W E Turner, well known in this city, together with others, witnessed the descent of the meteor. It fell at an angle of 45 degrees and left a trail of fire 300 yards long in the wake. The heavenly visitor was seen and heard to strike the ground and though every effort was made to find its location since it has been without success.
